What PullSubtitle does

PullSubtitle turns social media videos into text. Paste a link from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Reddit, Rumble, Twitch, Kick or the Meta Ad Library, and PullSubtitle returns the video's transcript with timestamps, its public details such as title, creator and engagement counts, and files you can download as TXT, SRT, VTT, CSV, JSON or Markdown.

It is built for people who work with video but need words: creators repurposing their own content, marketers and researchers studying what works, journalists who need accurate quotes, students taking notes, and anyone who needs captions for accessibility.

How it works

1. You sign in with Google or GitHub and paste a public video link.
2. PullSubtitle detects the platform and asks it, through a third-party data provider, for the captions it already publishes.
3. When a platform doesn't publish captions (for example Instagram and X, or TikToks without captions), the audio can be transcribed with automatic speech recognition. These results are labelled AI transcription so you always know how a transcript was made.
4. The transcript is shown on screen, saved to your private history for your plan's retention period, and can be exported in six formats.

PullSubtitle only reads content that is already publicly available. It does not download or host videos, and it never asks for your password on any social platform.

Pricing in one paragraph

Every account gets 3 free credits, then 1 free credit a day. One transcript costs 1 credit, and videos without captions or speech never cost anything. Starter ($9.99/month or $79.00/year) includes 500 credits every 30 days and Pro ($24.99/month or $199.00/year) includes 1,500.
